A Living at Home/Block Nurse ProgramSM

Our Mission is to provide neighborly volunteers who help older adults and adults with disabilities and their families and caregivers to live safely and comfortably in their own homes as long as possible and participate meaningfully in the life of the community through a variety of activities that enhance the quality of their lives.

 The Surreys are Out!

The "bicycle surreys" are all spiffed up and getting used more each day. Call us soon to reserve your time. You can choose the regular surrey that will carry 2 adults and a couple small children or the "limo" that will hold 4 adults and a couple small children.

Get on the trail behind our office, pass through the Longest Covered Bridge in Minnesota and head down the Wobegon Trail. Call us at 320-746-9960.

Pictured at the right is GARRISON KEILLOR who experienced our surrey briefly at the ceremony connecting the Wobegon and Central Lakes Trails.

Last month we reported receiving a grant from the Otto Bremer Foundation to support our work. This month we are proud recipients of a grant by the CentraCare Health Foundation to expand our work to more persons in need, develop services for adults with disabilities, and to develop volunteer standards and training.

Thank you to the CentraCare Health Foundation for partnering with us in our work!

Use of this Seal has been granted to us since 2006 in recognition that we have "Met All Standards" of accountability and transparency as a non-profit. We have been told that this is a rare achievement for a relatively small nonprofit organization and a strong statement of our dedication to our supporters.
