        •  There will be a great deal of publicity when the Adult Day Center is ready to open.

        • Any suggestions for new board members would be welcome

  • Ongoing business
    • Community feedback and board members speak out
      • We are collecting Teal’s Market receipts to earn us 1% back. Joyce in charge of this. Matter of Balance class starting in St. Stephen in March.
    • Board education
      • “Accountability Standards” of the Charities Review Council: Financial Activity. We are in good shape on our financial policies and procedures.
    • Executive director transition/applicant interviews
      • Reviewed Interview Questions.
        • Suggest we add grant writing, change mileage reimbursement, reduced questions to 15.
        • Reviews current applicants – we have received 10 applications, 3 withdrew.
          • We have 5 scheduled for interviews so far of the 7 left.
  • New business
    • How do we reflect and include the population(s) we serve?
      • We serve anyone of any gender, race, or creed.
      • Our newsletter goes to all households in the area and also all church bulletins.
        • We also go to all of these sources for board candidates.
        • We have our brochure translated into Spanish.
      • Our board reflects the people we serve in age, race, and gender.
    • Bingo/Raffle at Holdingford Daze 2015
      • Approved submitting to state for gambling permit
      • Notify Judy of any potential prize donors.
    • Surreys to Avon Spunktacular Days  on June 20
      • Approved our participation in this annual event
    • 2015 Minnesota Age Odyssey on June 15-16
      • Reserve two rooms at group rates
    • “Nonprofit Strengthening” Celebration (CRC)
      • Jeff took names of board members who may be interested in attending and will check back.
