Neighbors Helping Neighbors

Since our beginning Helping Hands Outreach has been a program that depends on the willingness of neighbors to help neighbors. And that need continues today. Our greatest volunteer needs are in the areas of:

• Providing transportation to medical appointments and shopping
• Light housekeeping to assist in keeping a home safe and comfortable.
• Simple chore services such as minor home repairs and installing safety bars.
• Providing respite care to a family caregiver who needs a break or to run an errand.

Volunteers are asked to complete a simple application and complete a background check. The needs are great and the rewards are greater. If you have some time you would like to spend helping others, contact Helping Hands Outreach at 320-746-9960.
